However, there are free ways of doing it. The easiest - though not the fastest is to submit your web site to quality web directories.
What is web directory? Web directory is a database of websites and their URLs ordered by category and often listed and displayed according to various rules.The web directory should be optimized so that search engine (web crawler) will be able to crawl and index the respective listings. This indexed listings are the required backlings which count in calculating your page rank, and bring surfers browsing the directory to your web page.
You might ask what is the need of web directories?
