Suggesting URL instructions

Few words in advance...

Before suggesting URL you have to choose your Category from the Directory menu. Navigate deep into the directories and sub directories which correspond best to the contents of the web site you are suggesting. Anyway you will also receive assistance from the corresponding editor. We advise you to take a few minutes and look for the category and directory path before suggesting your URL.

At this moment, StarDir does not accept:

• Adult/Pornography
• Sites with little or no original content
• Redirecting links
• Mirror sites
• Doorway sites

Your site will be reviewed by a StarDir editor and you will be notified via e-mail about the result of this review.

We can guarantee that your site will be reviewed within 12 hours of your submission if you have selected properly your site category! On the contrary, even if your site is a quality site, it may remain unprocessed if you select wrong category or you do not navigate deep enough into the directories tree. In addition, if you wish to achieve results which will benefit your web site, it is obligatory to select the best category about your submission which will favour your ranking and indexing by the search engines crawler and indexing programs. If your category does not correspond well enough to your web page content, your site may be even demoted in rank and penalized by the search engine indexing programs.

The service StarDir provides, is on AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis. We maintain the service from advertisements and donations and we will give the best of us to maintain and provide a reliable non-stop service. By submitting a web site to StarDir directory You agree:

1. To waive any claim related to the approval, placement, rejection, or removal of this or any other site in the Star Directory or to the title or description of any site appearing in the Star Directory
2. To grant Star Directory a royalty free licence to use, publish, copy, edit, modify, or create derivative works from the submitted material title, URL and site description.

StarDir Directory is absolutely free!

StarDir web directory remains free!. If, however, you want your link to appear first in the directory listings, you have to opt for paid submission or even better for StarDir Sponsored pay-per-click Links. The latter appear immediately after the category. In all other cases, your link will appear according to the page rank it has been given during the review process by our editors. Please note, that we do not guarantee that your website will be approved whether or not you have paid the submission fee.
